Kelowna and West Kelowna have plenty of wonderful options. Here are a few of our suggestions for the weekend of September 11–13.
Steps from the reception venue on the waterfront. Full resort with pools, spa, and lake views. The splurge-worthy option.
Downtown Kelowna, a 5-minute walk to the reception. Great value with a central location for exploring the city.
Lakefront resort in West Kelowna with pools, beach access, and full suites. Closest to the ceremony venue.
Plenty of vacation rentals in West Kelowna and Kelowna. Search for places near Boucherie Road for proximity to the wedding party.
September is peak season in the Okanagan — we recommend booking early!
Fly into Kelowna International Airport (YLW), which receives direct flights from Vancouver and Calgary. The airport is about 20-30 minutes from downtown Kelowna and the reception venue.
From Vancouver: ~4 hours via the Coquihalla Highway (Hwy 5) to Hwy 97C. A beautiful drive through the mountains.
From Calgary: ~6 hours via the Trans-Canada (Hwy 1) through the Rockies.
